Dust off that machine that has been gathering dust in your basement and bring it on down to Bev’s Yarn Barn in Rock Island! This monthly class takes place on the last Sunday of most months and starts at noon.
We will discuss:
Winding your bobbin
Threading the needle
How the machine works
A bonus beginner friendly topic that rotates - from needle types to accessories to fabric wefts, presser feet and more
Sewing lines on scrap fabric
This is a class available for anyone 8 and over, although children under 13 need an adult with them. This is a casual class that is a great refresher course for people getting back into the hobby as well as very beginners. Materials like scrap fabric, thread and bobbins are provided but feel free to bring in any materials that you have questions about!
